Dr. Sharon Thetford and Karen Rifkin, LMHC are sisters who specialize in distinct areas that span the mental health realm.

Astute and compassionate are two words patients use to describe Dr. Sharon R. Thetford. Years of training and clinical practice have given Dr. Thetford the skills necessary to get to the core of difficulties and find the best treatment for each patient’s unique concerns and challenges.
Karen Rifkin, MA, LMHC
Licensed Mental Health Counselor
Direct and down to earth, Karen Rifkin has been a Licensed Mental Health Counselor for over 30 years but has been working in the mental health field for most of her life. From an early age, her compassion and desire to help others motivated her.
Carlene Elmore
Forthright and fiercely compassionate, Carlene is the first person you will speak with when you call New Objectives. She has been the “mother hen” of the office for over 10 years and keeps Dr. Thetford and Ms. Rifkin organized and on schedule.
